This is only the start of what I would like to call…Draw-Every-Homestuck-stuck, or DEHstuck for short. In a nutshell, I will reread homestuck and draw each character as they appear. If I feel up to it I might do lands and environments too, but it’s already a daunting task to start with. But I need a reread and a lot of art practice so without further ado, John!!!!

Quick fact file on Yaldabaoth:

• He’s also called the “Lion-Headed”, Yaltabaoth, Ialdabaoth, Saklas and Samael, and the “Fool”, and “The Blind One”, and there are probably like a million more.
• He comes from Gnostic mythology, and is the Demiurge (Another nickname!)
• He is really arrogant and thought that he made the world all by himself!
• He didn’t though, Sophia (Who is kind of like the personification of knowledge+one of the “aspects” of God) created him and matter and energy accidentally when she fell from grace
• She created six other Archons too but like he was the most important because he was the oldest
• This varies from story to story bc Gnostics aren’t precise Yaldabaoth could have created the other six Archons
• Anyways he’s kind of a major asshat because he becomes jealous of humanity’s knowledge, and tries to make them stay ignorant.
• He is such a prick that Sophia gets embarrassed and sends him down to the Underworld, where he throws wicked souls in rivers of burning pitch with forty-nine other demons.
• He’s head demon by the way
• Back in the good old days he told Noah to build the ark and also tried to rape someone with the help of the other Archons
• So he’s a massive ass.
• I do not envy Caliborn.
